Holy Insecurity is the 2nd CDr in The Falling Sickness series.
'Holy Insecurity' takes its name from the Jewish mystic, Martin Buber, who spoke of the "holy insecurity" as the most creative state – bordering on madness. In "Der Heilige Weg" he rages against the predictable status quo - "O you secure and safe ones, you who hide yourselves behind the ramparts of the law so that you will not have to look into God's abyss! Yes, you have secure ground under your feet, while we hang suspended looking over the endless deeps. But we would not change our dizzy insecurity and poverty for your security and abundance".
Lisusun Turkusu - The Song of the Passion
Isus Hristozu kruçaya gerdilär,
Ellernä, ayaklarna enser kaktılar.
Çalıdan feneţ başına koydular,
Mirulu kannar üzünä akardı.
Mariya anası yanında aalardı.
- Aalama anacıım, aalama Mariya,
Göktä Bobanın bunnar var haberi.
Gök kuşların da yıvaları vardır,
Duşman geldiynen orayı saklanêr.
A ya bän sa, male, yok näänı saklanêyım -
Şu rayın yolu ne da pek dardır.
Oradan geçer lekesiz cannar,
Oradan da geler pek gözäl kokular,
Orda da yanêr sünmäz kandillär,
Ordan da çıkêr pek gözäl seslär.
Şu cendem yolu ne da pek geniş,
Günahkerlärä dar bilä geler.
Oradan da geler ne pis kokular,
Oradan da çıkêr pek çirkin seslär,
Orada da yanêr sünmäz ateşlär.
Jesus Christ they crucified,
In his hands and feet nails hammered nails,
A crown of thorns on his head they placed,
Blood and myrrh flowed down his face,
His mother wept at his side,
- Don't cry dear mother, don't weep so,
Our father in heaven had news of this,
Even the birds celestial birds have nests,
And when the enemy comes, they hide themselves there,
Oh, but I mother have nowhere to hide -
This heavenly path how narrow it is,
And from that place pass stainless souls,
And from that place came such sweet smells,
And in that place burn eternal candles,
And from that place are heard such beautiful voices,
But the way to hell is so wide,
The sinners in this way come,
From that place come such foul smells,
From that place come such ugly sounds,
And in that place burns fires that never go out.
